On Aug. 26, 2019, Life Care Centers of America presented Life Care Center of Bruceton-Hollow Rock, in Bruceton, Tennessee, with the Facility of the Year Award for its Eastern Division.

The award was presented during the company’s annual management meeting at its headquarters in Cleveland, Tennessee. It recognized the facility as the premier location in the division, which includes 39 skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.

Criteria for this award include excellent customer service, a strong activities department, an active volunteer program and involvement in the community.

Life Care Center of Bruceton-Hollow Rock, under the leadership of Executive Director Dareth Davis, was praised for its positive annual survey results, low turnover and 100-percent customer satisfaction rating. A few unique things that the facility offers are an annual rehab reunion for former patients who have returned home after therapy, as well as community involvement with the local Lions Club and a local youth group.

“We congratulate Dareth and her team of associates who, together, have developed such a strong facility,” said Beecher Hunter, Life Care president. “This staff sets the bar for excellence in performance among all nursing centers. The residents and rehab patients at Life Care Center of Bruceton-Hollow Rock are the real winners as they benefit from the works of love performed by the team every day.”
